Privacy policy.

Kuwait Delivery Manager ("the App") is a Shopify application developed by Falaq Solutions. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

1. What data we collect.

The App collects only the data necessary to provide delivery scheduling functionality:

  • Shop data: Shopify store domain and authentication tokens, used to authenticate API calls.
  • Delivery settings: Delivery areas, pricing, time windows, and availability rules you configure.
  • Order data: Order ID, delivery date/time slot, delivery area, and customer name/email — stored when a customer places an order with a delivery slot.
  • Usage data: Monthly delivery counts, used for internal analytics only.

2. How we use your data.

  • To display delivery area options and time slots on your storefront.
  • To save selected delivery slots with orders.
  • To show delivery information in your admin dashboard.
  • To enforce delivery area availability and capacity limits.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data storage and security.

All data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Fly.io (Frankfurt, EU region). Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Access is restricted to authenticated app instances only.

4. Data retention.

Order and delivery data is retained for as long as your store has the app installed. On app uninstallation, all store data — orders, delivery windows, areas, and settings — is permanently deleted within 48 hours.

5. Customer data (GDPR).

The App processes limited customer data (name and email) solely to associate delivery slots with orders. We support all required Shopify GDPR webhooks:

  • Customer data request: We can provide a copy of stored customer data on request.
  • Customer redact: Customer name and email are nullified within 48 hours of a redaction request.
  • Shop redact: All shop data is deleted within 48 hours of app uninstallation.

6. Third-party services.

  • Fly.io — application hosting and database storage.
  • Shopify — platform authentication and storefront integration.

7. Your rights.

As a merchant using this app, you have the right to:

  • Request a copy of all data we hold about your store.
  • Request deletion of your store's data at any time.
  • Uninstall the app to trigger automatic data deletion.
